expectations e-mail the business a testimonial. Tell them in the
testimonial the benefits you got from the product or service.
Give them permission to publish the testimonial on the web site

when they sign the guest book.

4. Write A Review

publish it on their web site if they include your resource box
at the end.

You Gotta Think -- Strategic Internet Marketing!

Have you ever been lost in the woods - wondering around aimlessly, not knowing where to go or what to do next?

Most online marketers are lost in the woods of the internet.

So if you want to get out of the woods and be an online marketer, you better start thinking strategically! That is, you need to practice strategic internet marketing techniques.

You're probably asking, what are strategic internet marketing techniques?

Let me start by telling you what it is not!

Strategic internet marketing is not buying 100,000 guaranteed hits.

It is not aimlessly placing banner ads all over the internet. It is not about using free classified ads and it is certainly not about depending on surfing for traffic sites.

Strategic internet marketing is simply about having an advertising PLAN that utilizes proven marketing tactics to get high converting results. Every promotion must have a purpose and it is critical to track the results of each and every advertisement.

Tracking is vital to finding ads that are successful and more importantly finding those that are NOT. Ads that do not perform need to be thrown out and those that do convert need to be rolled out on a larger scale.

If you are going to be serious about marketing online then you have to get serious about tracking your marketing methods. I will only say this once, if you do not track the results of your advertising methods you might as well throw your money out the window of a moving vehicle.

Now, that you know the importance of tracking your ads, let's talk about marketing techniques that work! To make a living marketing on the internet, you need to use these methods. If you don't, you will join the long list of people that say you can't make any money selling on the internet.

Below I have listed some of the marketing techniques I have used to build a profitable online business from the ground up:

Pay per Click Advertising - For the fastest and most predictable results Pay per Click can't be beat. If done properly, you can get immediate traffic that is laser targeted and high converting.

Write and Submit Articles - This is one of my favorite marketing techniques because it does two things for you. The first is that it builds credibility for you and your web site. Second, it is a tremendous way to drive tons of targeted traffic to your site for free. You don't have to be Hemingway, your articles just need to be informative and have very few grammatical errors.

Start Your Own Ezine - This is probably the most powerful marketing tactic on the web today. Having your own list of subscribers to send a newsletter to on a regular basis is powerful! I would much rather obtain a new subscriber over a single hit to my web site.

Banner Ads - Banner ads can be extremely successful and are a very cost effective way to drive traffic to your site. The most effective banner ads are text rather than graphics. Write a compelling ad that forces them to click, and this technique can provide you lots of sales.

Viral Marketing - Give something away that people can use and put links to your web site in it. Information is a powerful tool in marketing. Allow them to share it with their friends and family. Before you know, you will be getting a stampede of traffic to your site.

Linking - Reciprocal linking is critical to your online success. This is a time consuming tactic but it is well worth your time and effort. Search engines judge the importance of your web site by the number (and quality) of incoming links pointing to your site. By the way, writing articles is a great way to get high quality incoming links pointing to your site.

Ezine Ads - Purchasing ads in quality ezines is like doing joint ventures without sharing the profits. You need to identify ezines in your niche that you can run promotions in. This is an excellent way to get your ads in front of thousands of potential customers at an excellent value.

Search Engine Optimization - You need to make sure that your pages are fully optimized for the search engines. The cheapest and most targeted traffic you can receive still comes from high search engine rankings! Make sure your site is optimized and anchored to certain keywords that are relevant to your site.

If you will stick with these proven marketing strategies you will get more laser targeted traffic to your site than you know what to do with. You may even have to get more server space and buy a wheel barrow to get your deposits to the bank!

So forget about the gimmick marketing tactics that are all over the internet. Stick to what works! This list is not that long and online marketing is not that complicated. To be successful you need to implement proven marketing methods and have a strategic internet marketing plan. Make sure that every ad is tracked and that it has a definite purpose in your marketing plan.

So quit wondering around aimlessly in the woods and start thinking about marketing strategically!

What is Article Marketing?

Simply put article marketing is advertising your web site through the use of articles. This choose of advertising is preferable over others for the simple fact that it's free. There are many article directories that allow you to submit your articles for free. They allow you to have a resource box at the end of your article that you can plug your site and products with. Not only that but if you're into building links this is a great way of doing it. If your article is chosen by publishers they will republish your article on there websites giving you even more publicity and exposure. A well written article can give you massive exposure.

Can't write? There are services that will "ghost write" an article for you. Avoid purchasing article packs, these are pre written articles that you can purchase, slap your name on them and publishes them. The reason I say avoid these is that you want your articles to be original not something thousands of other people have put there names on previously. Besides, most article directories know these articles by heart and reject them on sight. So make sure your work is original.

Avoid a strong sales pitch. Starting off with a hard sales pitch will only discourage potential customers. There will be plenty of space to pitch to them in your resource box. Show your knowledge of the subject and give your readers valuable information pertaining to the subject. If the reader sees the professionalism of your work they will be more inclined to read the entire article and visit your links.

Research and construct a list of all the free article directories you can find so that you can simply submit your articles to the sites on your list when you've finished writing. Be sure to carefully read the terms of service and editorial guidelines of each directory and format your article accordingly. The more articles you write, the better your chances are of getting visitors to your site. Article marketing is a great way to increase your name recognition and build links to your site so give it a try. Who knows, you might like it.

You are invited to submit your articles free to ArticleFever.com

Single Best Way To Turn Visitors Into Rabid Buyers

Did you know that, on average, only 2% of visitors to your website will purchase your product or service?

Good news, you can improve that number, quite radically by collecting subscribers and re-marketing your site to them.

Two ways you can do that - a hard way and an easy way...

The hard way is through just offering one-time offers or waiting for your website visitors to give you their names when visiting your website.

What can you expect to get this way?

A trickle of email addresses, maybe a few each day that will grow into a substantial list "some day"

Now, the easy way.

I call it the "Flypaper" method where you put up some sticky tape and catch a whole whack of flies within hours. Now that's more like it.

Subscribers, of course, are far more valuable than flies - and you need to treat them that way to keep them, but drawing them to you is actually quite easy, when you know how.

The RIGHT Way To Produce E Mini Courses That

Draw Subscribers Like Sharks To Fresh Chum

First off, its great that more people are using e mini courses as a marketing tool, but what's SAD is that 99% of them are turning subscribers AWAY, not attracting them.

Now, I'm going to give you some very powerful, detailed information that improved my online marketing results by over 100% - ( incidentally, all I did was follow the exact wording and template in Automated Income Streams http://www.create-e-mini-course.com - I highly suggest you do the same)

Let's use this example, say you have a Stop Smoking eBook or course you were marketing - here's how your 5-part minicourse might look:

Part 1: 3 Easy, Safe and Painless Steps to Stop Smoking

Here - you outline 3 highlights from your information as an introductary lesson letting your prospects know you have the solution they want

Part 2: Hidden, Natural Way To Instantly Stop Cravings

You want to pick your market's leading challenge - and tell them "what" the solution is without giving them the complete details or the "how"

Part 3: A Little Known Secret That Will Stop Your Smoking

Long Term

In this lesson, you want to highlight one tip or technique that you have for addressing another pressing issue on the mind of your reader

Part 4: How To Prevent Failure - Increase Will Power

The fourth lesson, you can address an obstacle that typically gets in the way of your reader's success. Again - telling them "what" to do rather than exactly "how" will lead them back to your product.

Part 5: End-To-End Checklist For Ending Your Smoking

Here - you have another format for telling your market what to do - proving that you have the solution and leading them back to your product to understand exactly why.

Starting to get the idea of how powerful, persuasive and meaningful your own e mini course can be?

It's as easy as "stealing" the template - word-for-word, that Jimmy D Brown outlines in his masterpiece "Automated Income Streams" over at: http://www.create-e-mini-course.com

Go over and get a copy - it even comes with automatic reprint rights and a website you can use to market it - but the real value is in the template.

Enjoy!

Online Sales: 10 Heavy Duty Tactics To Sky-Rocket Your Online Sales

-----------------------------------------------------------

Here are the 10 heavy duty online sales tactics that have helped me to sky rocket my sales:

1. Add extra subjects to your web site. Most free ad sites only allow you to submit your web site to one category. This'll allow you to submit it to many.

2. Increase the perceived value of your product by making your offer scarce. You could use limited time bonuses, low prices, low quantities, etc.

3. Find out your competitions' weakness and use it as your "Unique Selling Proposition". It's the reason why people buy your products and not theirs.

4. Sell your products or services to a specific niche market. For example, instead of selling your fishing book to all fisherman, target it toward fly fisherman.

5. Test your advertising and marketing. You'll save time, money and big headaches promoting the right offer to the right group of people.

6. Persuade visitors to buy your product by telling them the future. Tell them what'll happen with their life in the future if they buy or don't buy.

7. Offer a free trial of your product for a set period of time. Don't charge or bill them until they decided to buy it. This'll take away any risk they have.

8. Create other web sites that draw your initial target audience. Then you can lead your prospects to your main web site by linking to your other web sites.

9. Inform people about your site or freebie through e-mail announce lists. You can find them by typing "e-mail announce lists" in any search engine.

10. Tell your visitors what they can avoid by buying your product or service will motivate them to buy. They may want to avoid pain, fear, danger, etc.

May these online sales secrets help you to make a lot of money and succeed

Secrets to Business Success on the Internet

Secret Number One: The Key Is A Niche Market

Identifying a viable niche is an important asset as you're creating a new Internet business. The target should be a certain facet of the population that has very specific needs you are able to satisfy. Discover the habits and characteristics of those who will become your regular customers.

Here are some of the questions you should ask about various consumers.

  • Does this target market include consumers who use the Internet frequently?
  • Are these potential customers people who have disposable income?
  • Which communities have more interest in the convenience and time saving qualities of online shopping?
  • Are there businesses that could use your help to find diverse or rare services and products quickly and easily?
  • Are there potential customers who prefer the privacy of purchasing products or services online?
  • Is there a need in the target market for cost cutting or price-comparison shopping of particular products or services?

Once you have discovered the answers applicable to your business you can narrow your marketing strategy. Spend time and energy on those you know have potential purchasing power. Also, a marketing portfolio should be diversified and flexible as your business changes over time.

Secret Number Two: Believe In The Importance Of The Web

These days a strong web presence can make all the difference to an entrepreneur. Your can now entertain the possibility of being nationwide or even worldwide. The scope is no longer limited to the physicality of your own neighborhood. Further, it provides your company with a virtual business card that is viewed at a client's leisure and is a complement to a physical location that may appeal to a different clientele.

An Internet presence is a mighty tool for the small business. To build a web site or a storefront is incredibly cost-effective. Also, as a growing number of web design firms and private contractors appear the rates and prices become increasingly affordable. Opportunities to learn how to create a simple web site on your own are also available. Inexpensive templates and programs can be purchased online and only basic computer knowledge is needed to utilize them.

Secret Number Three: Use Every Internet Marketing Tool Available

Unique, low-cost business marketing opportunities are accessible on the web. Bulletin boards, web rings, e-zines and other resources post information and articles/press releases on companies. This is often free of charge! Grass roots methods, such as spreading the word about your business through referrals and from one person to another, also move quickly through the Internet. Use this technology to your advantage!

There are endless ways to add links to your website on other sites. This expands your web presence vastly and can also be free of charge. Check out networks online. Business organizations of all kinds affiliate with one another over the Internet. Taking part in an association made up of various providers helps bring in traffic and benefits everyone.

Secret Number Four: Do Not Forget The Importance Of Customer Service

People enjoy great customer service, yet it's easy when owning an online business to lose sight of providing any customer service at all. The lack of face-to-face contact can leave a company seeming impersonal and uncaring. Quality care of the people you work with is key to bringing in repeat business. See your business from the clients' point of view and expand in the direction that best serves their needs.

On the Internet communication is a valuable commodity. Encouraging clients to ask questions, make complaints or suggestions, and to correspond by phone or e-mail to discuss problems is imperative. Also responding to these inquiries in a timely and professional manner will solidify your presence as a company worth patronizing!

Remember, create a business or build on a business venture with a vision of success in mind. Your vision is an investment! Be adaptable, open-minded, and diversify your efforts. This will lead to successful growth and long-term security. Take time to explore tools and do whatever detective work is necessary; make it a habit that continues over the years. Give yourself all of the advantages possible and you will reach your highest goals.

A Website Model That Makes Money Online

I would like to share with you one simple stratergy in creating income with your own website. This is just one method out of simply millions that you could create for yourself. Remember the internet provides no limits. This is one example that does work for me, and may give you an insight into exactly a website model, that you may like to put into action for yourself. Affiliate marketing and/or sales of any kind on the internet, requires a real commitment, as I am sure you do already realize. The internet is really one of the greatest training grounds in the world for sales. You can try and fail many times, until you find that system and approach that will work for you. But the commitment that you show in meeting this challenge, will be a lesson that you will always remember. Success is always achieved in no matter what you do, through simple hard work. There is no easy path to success, but when you achieve the success you are after, there is no greater feeling. So lets begin. In this example my website, which for the purposes of this article i will call '????'. I will give you the exact profit breakdowns.

With this website I treat all my affiliate products as purely residual income, much like adsense. Adsense itself generates for me, on this website, on average around $2 per day. I also use various other companies affiliate products, which generate around $200 per month. Also within the website, I sell e-book informational products, which I own the full resale rights for, which generate around $700 per month. And here lies the answer to making money online, no matter what you sell. The products, that generate the most income, are the ones that you will own yourself. Certainly I should be making more from the affiliate info products that I sell. But I lose commissions through simple affiliate url tampering. Commissions that are stolen or lost are a real pain. You can try every method in the book to protect your affiliate codes. But after all the hard work is done, you still lose that valuable income. The people who sell the original affiliate product know this, which is mostly why a high percentage of the sales price is offered to an affiliate to begin with. Because they realize that a very high ratio of sales made on their products will give them the total profit back. The reasons why people change affiliate product codes etc, could run into pages. Lets just say it is inevitable. This is the reason why I treat all my affiliate based products as purely residual income.

But as you can see in this example clearly where the highest return on investment lies. And that is in the products that you actually own. You can purchase resale rights for info products easily, and it involves not much money at all, most products are available for under $50. Or if you have the time and patience to search the internet. You can find amazing e-books that have free resell rights and the information they contain is really valuable. You will find these types of treasures occasionally, and the lights will start flashing in your eyes when you do. The information that you have just discovered is of value and that is a real key to success. This is why I, at this point, strongly emphasize the importance of this one principle. Only sell products that you feel strongly about and you know that will be of great value to the person who may purchase it. That includes products you have bought the resale rights for, or a free product, you have discovered with resale rights.

If you sell strong products with real informational value consistently you will always succeed. Your customers will return, quite simply because they know where the value of the information they seek is the greatest. And that is at your website. Always remember to put yourself into your visitors shoes. Ask yourself the question? Would you buy the products you are selling? Answer this question with a Yes. And you will be really on the start too online success.

Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing: The Good The Bad And The Ugly

The Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing are many.

A few Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing are:

  1. * It's on the internet so it's low cost
  2. * Very fast
  3. * And you can reach a global audience

However it:

  1. * Can leave the businessman feeling isolated
  2. * Hard to tell if people are lying because you can't see their face
  3. * And you can be overloaded with information.

There are more Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing, but I wont cover them all in one article. However I will focus on a few important ones.

Positives:

Low cost:

The internet is made up of electrons, so there is not really anything physically to grab hold of like in a brick and mortar business. This considerably reduces your costs as you don't really need many materials or buildings. Just a computer with world wide web capabilities : )

Very fast:

A great advertisement I saw once said "If you were an electron, you would be there by now". This was an ad at an airport. It's referring to the internet. It's made up of electrons so it's VERY fast. Click a link, and you could be looking at an Australian website, click another one and you could be in America. If you wanted to get information any other way from these countries, you may end up having to go there. The world wide web eliminates the need for this. Go any where you want with the click of a button.

You can reach a global audience:

By this I mean, you don't have to set up shop somewhere and sell to the locals. You can set up an online shop, and sell to anyone in the world. This means a huge increase in potential revenues and a fraction of the cost it would take for you to set up shops all over the world.

Negatives:

Can leave the businessman feeling isolated:

This is very common. Because the world wide web is faceless (In most cases), it can appear cold and inhuman. This can leave you feeling isolated and very inward. Not a nice feeling at all. Everyone likes to socialize and meet people, but in this case, its quite difficult to, in business anyway.

Hard to tell if people are lying:

There is so much information on the world wide web now, it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between crap and quality. A lot of the crap is targeted at newbies. Here's an example "Make money fast by doing NOTHING", sound familiar? I bet you've had a ton of emails saying something similar.

Information Overload:

Once again we get to the part of there being a lot of information on the world wide web. There can be too much good information too. There can be a lot of competition for an industry, this can leave you more confused than if there were presented with loads of crap. You might not be able to tell who to chose. If you are a veteran of the net, you wont have much to worry about, however if you're a newbie then this is a problem.

The above are the positive and the negatives. Overall, I would definitely say that if you can do business online, then definitely do it.

Magic Of Direct Response Website

For a web site to make the most money it must be a direct response web site. That does not mean that sites with contents do not make money. But for a small business owner the direct response website is the key to real profits.

Purpose of direct response website is very simple. It just takes orders. The customer reads your product and decides either to buy or leave. Simple and pure business. No confusion at all.

What is a direct response website?

It is a site which aims at stimulating a response from the customer. It focuses on selling a product and getting an immediate response. The response can be a purchase or a lead generation. Mostly it is in form of a sales letter featuring a product and having an order link at the end.

When a customer comes to direct response website he simply has two options. Either he buys the product or leaves.

Beauty of this site lies in easy to reach and accomplish the final deed or sale in just one or two clicks.

A site which requires more than three clicks to reach the order page cannot compete with a direct response site when it comes to making sales if they are getting the same traffic.

The reason is simple. Ease of reaching and reacting to the order.

So if you want to make good money out of your product or want to get ever pouring leads write or get written a killer sales letter, setup a direct response webpage with your order link and go.

The next thing you do is just count your sales.

There are a few things that you need to take care of. A theme based domain name and a good sales letter. If you cannot write one hire somebody who can. A little search and queries in the forum will surely get you one.

The principle of direct response website can also be applied to your existing website. Make your site such that when traffic comes to you it stays till it has gone through what you are offering. Here are few tips

# Do not post unnecessary links on your home and product page

If there are too many internal links the customer gets confused. If there are external links you have already lost the traffic before you could sell something. Design your site with the concept in your mind that your links should pull the visitor to the page where you are selling. Otherwise you have already diluted effectivity

# Your sales page should not be more than three clicks away maximum.

Earlier your potential customer reaches there better the results will be. All your customers are not on fast loading connections. Who will go through unnecessary hassles to reach your sales page if the work is tiresome? So make it easy for them. Everybody likes a comfortable experience.

# Design your site to be fast loading Everybody including me and you hates slow loading sites. Your customer will turn away before your site appears. Cut those unnecessary graphics and test yourself for the results.

I will end the article with a quote from a leading internet marketing guru ?

"A web site created out of a hot sales letter and an image of your product will make you much more money than a web site full of links ever will. This may be the exact opposite of what you have heard. If it is, then what you heard was wrong".

It was true when it was written. Repeated tests have shown that it is still true.

And it will stay this way.

See it your self.

10 Creative Ways to Sell and Market Resale Rights Products Offline

Are you having a tough time selling that ebook or resale rights product online? Is the online market for your info product over saturated? Maybe your ebook is too niche focused and doesn't draw much traffic from online keyword searches.

Let's not get discouraged. It's time to do something about those lackluster ebook sales.

It's time to think outside the box with ten of the best methods for selling any ebook,
software or resale rights product offline.

1. Copy the Resale Rights product onto a CD. Use the included ebook or website graphics to print CD stickers or CD labels. Now it will be easier for you to market your ebooks offline. This works especially well with Niche resell products. Example: recipe ebooks, special interests, finance software, and ect.

2. Write ads for your ebooks and software and place them in offline classifieds such as pennysavers, townshoppers or thriftynickles papers. Any of the classified ads newspapers will do. Don't spend too much. Start small and test your ads. Take notice of other ads that sell information products.

3. With your resale rights product copied onto CDs, start selling them to friends and relatives. This works great if you are selling digital products targeted to specific niches such as losing weight ebooks or how to make crafts ebooks.

4. Sell your resale rights ebook or software at cooking parties. Do you sell cookware or throw cookware parties? You could sell a recipe ebook or offer it as a bonus gift at your next sales party. You can try this technique with Mary Kay and Avon or most any party sales type program.

6. Allow small business owners to resell ebooks on a consignment basis (meaning you split the revenue once the sale is made). Make arrangements with local business owners to offer the ebook on CD at their retail stores with no up front cost to them. Try to match the theme of the ebooks or software with the theme of the retail store. Just place a small display on the front counter and watch the sales pour in.

7. Provide fundraising opportunities to schools, non profits, Churches, and youth groups. Just copy your ebooks onto CD as mentioned in idea #1. Call on some non profit groups and tell them that you provide fund raising opportunities at no up front cost. Explain that they can resell ebooks and software and get a large percentage of every sale.

8. Market your digital products as giveaway incentives for local businesses. Ebooks and software can be used as customer incentives by local businesses. For example: Get free software to help you mange your finances when you stop in to open a new checking account.

9. Sell those resale rights products and ebooks door to door. Why not? It works for Mary Kay doesn't it?

10. Put up a sales display at a flea market ... Offer them for $5 a CD. OK, so I saved the best idea for last. ;)

5 Ways to Make Quick and Easy Money

===================

Sometimes you need extra money--for bills, for presents, or just for run. The following are five suggestions to get quick cash.

1) Sell items on eBay or Half.com. Do you have old VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, or books? Get a gift from someone you didn't want? Or do you have collectibles you no longer collect? Turn those items into moola by selling them on eBay or Half.com or any other online auction.

2) Take surveys or participate in focus groups. These go on all of the time, every day. Surveys aren't guaranteed income--but you can make as little as $1 or as much as $250 for one few minute survey. I know because one year I made an additional $600 just by taking online surveys. Focus groups are run by market research groups and generally pay around $60 for an hour of your time. You can register with the groups online. Find ones in your area by doing a Google search.

3) Busker on a street corner. Do you have musical or artistic talent? Many towns and cities allow people to sing, play instruments, paint, draw, etc. for donations or small fees on street corners. Check with your city licensing office to see if you need a permit.

4) Donate plasma. This is the old college student stand-by (along with sometimes donations to sperm banks).

5) Become a mystery or secret shopper. Payment is small (usually $10-$25) per assignment, but oftentimes you get to keep what they make you buy--after they reimburse you for it. Plenty of companies advertise on the web for these kinds of shoppers.
So if you need extra cash, look into one of these ideas. They can be one-time revenue sources or repeated revenue sources.

Internet Marketing Newbie? Tailor Your Website
--------------------------------------------
by: Wy Williams

You have decided to zero in on product creation? You have reached the point were you know your goals inside out. You have even written your goals down.

They are tacked onto your refrigerator and taped over your computer. You also have your goals written in your pocket-size “ideas” booklet. It appears you are ready to rumble! Let’s get it on!

You finally decide that the theme for your website is going to be “Men’s Shoes Of The 50’s.” From here on in, everything on the website should dovetail nicely into the theme.

Don't bring in men’s trousers. For now, during the early going, stick with this specific shoe.

Put your shotgun away, at this point, you need your rifle. People are savvy. They know what it is they want. They’re smart enough to know not to type in men’s shoes. They zero in on a specific shoe, mens shoes of the 50’s.

it'’s coming early, but here is a priceless golden nugget.

You now know the way people search online. Try to marry your selling strategies to the way people search. When you can accomplish that, you will be looking your target customer dead in the eye.

Lets dig into this a bit more. People who go online to buy a “men’s shoe of the 50’s” are interested in just that, a mens shoe of the 50’s. That’s it!

The trousers that you thought they might buy when they come to your 50’s shoe website are what you want. Not what they want.

Crucial error!

Learn a lesson here because most of the money spent on promoting 50’s shoes and trousers is unfocused and wasted. That money could have gone to increase your variety of 50’s shoe on display on your website.

Or better yet, it could have boosted your marketing budget thereby bringing more targeted traffic to your website. You also now have to redo your divided website.

Picture this!

Your website is perfectly themed. Content is intricately woven throughout your website and is spot on. You have done your website homework. Your articles and reports are singularly focused with great content on the mens shoe of the 50’s.

The search engines have sent the spiders to comb your website and they love it. Your google ads are specific and focused.

Deep into the country, in a small unknown town, daddy’s birthday is approaching.

Mother is secretively asked, “what does daddy want for his birthday?”

She shoots back with a smile, (the children have remembered) “get him a pair of two-tone shoes from the 50’s.”

Perplexed, the children respond, “they don’t sell those shoes in town, where can we get them?”

Mother smiles again, “try the internet.”

“Oh why didn’t we think of that,” replied the children.

They go to the computer, fire it up, and guess what they type in? You’re correct, mens shoes of the 50’s. And guess which website is staring them in the face?

This scenario is played out over and over and your internet cash register is ringing steadily. Stay focused, set up one singular site, but set it up well. Then watch that one website turn over again and again. Sort of like money in the bank.

Internet Marketing Plan: Great Ways

to Run Your Business Smoothly

and Make It More Profitable

------------------------------

If you are looking for a way to make your businesses run
at a much smoother pace and making it more profitable,
then an Internet marketing plan is the first step you have
to take in order to do all these.

Try to imagine that an Internet marketing plan is a map
that will guide your business to success. Without an Internet marketing plan,
it would be like going on a road trip without a map, and eventually,
you would get lost on your way to your destination.
So, starting an online business requires you to have
a well thought out plans and strategies. If you start an online business
without a marketing plan, it will be the perfect opportunity to fail.

First of all, when you are making your Internet marketing plan, you need to set goals and objectives. Ask yourself where you want your business to go and also ask yourself when you want to achieve that goal. A business without a goal will only let you end up in frustration.

Here are a few things you should do in order to create the perfect or solid Internet marketing plan:

- The first thing you need to do in order to be successful in your businesses, whatever it is, is to design your strategies. When designing your Internet marketing strategy, you need to know who your target customers are. Know who will likely be your strongest customers. To do this, you should examine age groups, educational level, marital status, income level and other things that would make your potential number one customer comfortable in your website.

- After you know who your potential customers will be, you should design your website that will suit their needs. Determine what they like in a website, know what keeps them interested and you should also know what products they would likely buy from you. You also need to know how you can sell your products or services to these people. It is very important on how you and your website communicate with people in order for you to build trust and loyalty from your clients. With these, you will be sure that they will want to come back.

- Of course, an effective online business should also have a strategy on how you want to sell your products and services in your website. You should choose what your targeted client will most likely be comfortable with. It can be a shopping card, a secure server certificate or it can be through major credit cards. It should be something that your targeted customer will be comfortable with.

When you have all these, you can be sure that your clients
will be very comfortable with you and what you're selling them.
However, you also need a way to advertise your website effectively.
Internet marketing has a lot of options in terms of advertising.
One of which is through article marketing.

Writing an article that is related to your products and
posting them in your website and also other article publishing
website will allow you to generate targeted traffic.
What targeted traffic means is that you will be attracting people
who will be interested in the products or services you are selling.

These are some of the things you can attract potential customers.
With these tools, you can really make your business run more
smoothly and generate more profit.

How To Market Your Business Online
By Writing Articles And Providing Content

++++++++++++++++++++++

Have you ever heard the term "Content is King" on the internet?

But do you know what it actually means?

Some people say that by providing lots of content on your site
it will help your search engine rankings, others say
that it will keep your visitors coming back to your site
by making it "sticky" and others say that by writing
articles you can get your name "out there"

Well, I think it's all three and more besides!

The internet is a great place to search for information.

Want to know where to buy some flowers? You go to the internet.

Want to know how to unblock your toilet? You go to the internet

Want to know where to publish your articles? You go to....

You get the picture!

The thing is that many people are searching the internet
for quality content just like you are now if you are reading this!

I love articles. They are a very powerful way of reaching
thousands of interested readers. Having said that, sitting
down to write the articles can be very time consuming!

Therefore, amongst writing your own I recommend
that you look for royalty free articles and information
that you can pass of as your own.

Make sure they allow you to add your name,
business and website address on them or they will be pointless.
Then go to other related websites and ask the site owner
to publish your article - simple as that!

Webmasters normally run some type of newsletter
or ezine and they are just craving for quality content so
please feel free to give it to them!

It will be a win for them and it will be a win for you!

Will Your Site Succeed?
-----------------------------------------
The sad truth is that most new businesses fail.

It's a fact we're all familiar with... and as
entrepreneurs, one we all ignore.

It's easy to do. For one thing, online those
statistics probably aren't that bad. With
AdSense, you're almost guaranteed some income.
Use the right strategies and techniques, and
there's no reason why that income shouldn't be
very good indeed.

And yet, when you first put up your website --
when you're checking your stats every couple of
hours or less to see what's happening -- you
can't help but ask yourself, "Am I going to make
it? Is my site going to take off and pour in the
cash or am I going to be the only visitor?"

It takes time before you can know for sure what
sort of income your site can generate. The
marketing doesn't take effect overnight, and you
need to wait and view the figures before you can
tweak your ads. But there are some signs that are
pretty good indicators of the future success, or
otherwise, of your website.

The first is how often you want to update it.

That's not the same thing as how often you
actually update it.

You might have told yourself that you're going to
put up new content every week, especially at the
beginning when you're getting few visitors.
There's nothing wrong with that. But if you feel
that you want to update it more often, that's a
good sign that you're producing interesting
content.

If you've got ideas that you can't wait to share,
you'll find that you'll have users who can't wait
to read them.

On the other hand, if you think that maybe once a
week is too frequent and that you've got nothing
to say, it's likely that no one's going to want
to read it and you'll struggle to get traffic.

A second sign that your site is likely to be
successful concerns what you do when you're not
updating it.

If you spend your spare time looking at sites on
similar topics and can name half a dozen of the
best sites in your field without batting an
eyelid, that's a good sign. It shows that you're
on the ball and are genuinely interested in the
subject.

On the other hand, if you only think about the
subject of your site when it's time to update and
have no idea what other people saying, no one's
going to care what you have to say.

This all comes down to content. If you know
you're producing top-quality content, you won't
have to worry about the success of your site.
Implement strategies for AdSense success and
continue to work your plan. That is the doorway
to success online!

To your success!

and associations. Participate in on-line business-related forums, e-mail
discussion groups, and chat rooms. Go to business expos and trade shows.
Use your creativity to come up with even more ideas. If you have the time,
start y.our own networking g.roup. You could hold meetings at a local
seminar room, at a park , or at y.our own business building. If you want
to hold meetings on-line use a private chat room. Publish a print or
e-mail newsletter to keep members informed of meeting time and
dates.Keep all your business associates' contact information all in one place.
Have it organized by business type or profession for easy finding.
So when you need some advice on a new marketing campaign you can call
that marketing expert you met at that trade show in Ohio acouple
of weeks ago.Networking is a surefire way to build a successful business.
I have used it countless times and will continue too. I have also met a lot of
business people who are now some of my closest friends.

What is Internet Scam Reporting?
--------------------------------------------------------

Copyright 2006 Best Internet Home Based Business PublicationsInternet Scam Reporting may be the best internet home based business opportunity you’ve never heard of. You can register to be a scam reporter and enjoy the benefits of getting paid to share your experiences of getting ripped off by con artists selling home business opportunity scams. This is the best way to get back at companies that virtually stole your hard earned money.Report your bad experiences of getting scammed and get paid! Scam Reporting allows individuals who have been deceived and scammed out of money investing in any of the various business opportunity programs for buying and selling real estate, stuffing envelopes, MLM, chain letters, affiliate programs, etc. a chance to get even. Added to this, scam reporters receive help from private organizations and agencies that specialize in helping to report internet scams and rip offs. There is no limit to the kinds of business opportunity scams or rip-offs that you can report. You can report Advertising schemes, Affiliate programs, Chain Letters, Commodities (Futures) Contract programs, Contacting Private Philanthropists, Envelope Stuffing, Franchises, Get-Rich-Quick schemes, Government Grant and Loans programs, Lottery systems, Lottery Syndicates, Mail Order programs, Multi-Level Marketing, Network Marketing, Owning or Operating Online Malls, Porn Websites and Casinos, Product Assembly, Pyramid Schemes, Real Estate programs, Referral businesses, Reseller programs, Selling Software or Computers, Sending or Processing E-mails, Stock Market programs, Newsletters (buying or selling), Vending Machine packages, Wholesale Distributorship, or any other scam found in a magazine, seen on television, or found on the internet. The difference between a Scam Reporter and the average victim of get-rich-quick schemes is that the Scam Reporter is trained to systematically report his or her experiences in exchange for profits. The average victim of a get-rich-quick scheme loses their money and feels cheated. He is left to feel hopeless, powerless, and clueless. The average consumer victim may file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. But that doesn’t always help them get their money back and it certainly doesn’t quell the frustration of getting ripped off.Scam Reporters only report their experiences to work-at-home inquirers who request information about what types of programs work and/or don’t work. The inquiry side of the Home Wealth Industry has been a relatively obscure entity until now. Home Wealth Industry program inquirers sometimes pay as much as $150 for information “lists” for what kinds of business opportunity programs work. More importantly, they want to know which ones do not work. These individuals who are interested in work-at-home programs are located all over the world.Scam Reporting can successfully be done from anyone’s home no matter where they are located in the world. It is commonly referred to as the best home based business online. Think about it: You can get back at every company that has ever scammed you and get paid for it.In short, Scam Reporters report scams and get paid handsomely for their noble work. This is accomplished with the help of private organizations and agencies. They are paid money from work at home inquirers located across the world. Many of these individuals pay as much as $150 for information lists on what works and what does not work

Brute Force Attack!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Brute Force Attack:A last resort is to try every possible password, known as a brute force attack. In theory, a brute force attack will always be successful since the rules for acceptable passwords must be publicly known, but as the number of possible passwords increases very rapidly as the length of the password increases, this method is unlikely to be practical unless the password is relatively small. But, how small is too small? A common current length recommendation is 8 or more randomly chosen characters combining letters, numbers, and special (punctuation, etc) characters. Systems which limit passwords to numeric characters only, or upper case only, or, generally, which exclude possible password character choices make such attacks easier. Using longer passwords in such cases (if possible on a particular system) can compensate for a limited allowable character set. and, of course, even with an adequate range of character choice, users who ignore that range (using only upper case alphabetic characters, or digits alone, for instance) make brute force attacks much easier against those password choices.Generic brute-force search techniques can be used to speed up the computation. But the real threat may be likely to be from smart brute-force techniques that exploit knowledge about how people tend to choose passwords. NIST SP 800-63 (2) provides further discussion of password quality, and suggests, for example, that an 8 character user-chosen password may provide somewhere between 18 and 30 bits of entropy, depending on how it is chosen. Note: This number is very far less than what is generally considered to be safe for an encryption key.How small is too small thus depends partly on an attacker's ingenuity and resources (e.g., available time, computing power, etc.), the latter of which will increase as computers get faster. Most commonly used hashes can be implemented using specialized hardware, allowing faster attacks. Large numbers of computers can be harnessed in parallel, each trying a separate portion of the search space. Unused overnight and weekend time on office computers can also be used for this purpose. The distinction between guessing, dictionary and brute force attacks is not strict. They are similar in that an attacker goes through a list of candidate passwords one by one; the list may be explicitly enumerated or implicitly defined, may or may not incorporate knowledge about the victim, and may or may not be linguistically derived. Each of the three approaches, particularly 'dictionary attack', is frequently used as an umbrella term to denote all the three attacks and the spectrum of attacks encompassed by them.Ankit Talwar - Web Designer

Search Engine Optimization: Advertising, Websites and Sitemaps

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To understand the value of a sitemap on your website, it may be of benefit to place internet marketing and advertising in perspective.

Before the advent of the Internet; before there were Internet businesses and Internet marketing, the main means of getting your message before the public was by several standard advertising venues. First was newspapers, then came radio, and then there was television. For each of these mediums, the techniques became stylized and solidified. Each learned what worked best for its particular means of expression and target market.

Then, along came the Internet:

Whether an internet business however, or a more traditional business, the goal has remained the same...get the message to the consumer.

Once all the high-tech trappings have been stripped away, that single goal remains the focus of internet marketing just as in the older, less technical settings.

Another thing which has NOT changed is the advertisement itself. The best advertisements offer a solution to a problem the reader might have. They are clear and concise. They make sense, or perhaps they amuse. The message can be approached from several different angles, and the writing of advertising copy is an entire field in its own right.

The same applies to the headline. The headline is the hook, which when properly crafted, gives just enough information to pique the curiosity of the reader while creating the image of the answer to the problem of the moment lurking just a little further into the copy text itself. Entire books have been written just on the subject of writing the right headline.

While the arts of writing good advertising copy and alluring headlines is still much the same, the means of getting the advertisement into the hands of the reader, or onto the screen of the reader's computer, has changed.

A newspaper was delivered to the door, or was hawked on a street corner. The reader might buy to read news and see information about a new car sale...or they might buy the newspaper to find out what cars were on sale. In any case, newspapers were easy to get hold of, and everybody knew how to find the classifieds or the obituaries, depending on their interests. Since a newspaper tended to be regional in nature, someone in San Francisco did not have to worry about whether or not the car in the ad was in New York or Boston.

Radio and television followed in the newspaper's footsteps, and much the same was true of them as has been said about newspapers.

The Internet has changed a lot about advertising:

First, the product offered by an internet business is not necessarily regional any more. Someone in San Francisco CAN buy a car that is located in New York or Boston.

Second, people from all over the earth can now create an online business and sell many of their products and services all over the world.

This means there are millions, perhaps billions of people trying to sell or buy on the internet at any given time. Each has their own major advertisement posted online, and this advertisement is called their website.

No longer is it sufficient to just have good advertising copy, a good headline, and to place the advertisement in the local paper or TV station. Not only must the website/advertisement meet all the requisite criteria for success, but now the advertiser must figure out how to get THEIR advertisement read.

Anybody with a computer can put up a website, but to get people to visit that website, and perhaps make a purchase, requires more. There are literally thousands or even millions of websites offering the same thing that you offer. In order to make your website stand out, one thing you can do is use the techniques of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Search engines are important to an internet business because it has been estimated that about 85% of website visitors arrive through a search engine listing. Performing some sort of search engine optimization to a website will enable search engines to more efficiently find, index, rank, and present all the websites floating in the vast sea called "Internet".

There are many possible techniques involved in search engine optimization, such as proper use of meta tags, use of valuable content laden with keywords, and linking from relevant sites to name a few. One other technique is the use of a sitemap. The more pages your site has, the more important a sitemap becomes.

In its simplest form, a sitemap is a listing, or catalog, of all the pages on a site, together with their links. A link to the sitemap should be placed on the index page at a minimum. A sitemap may be simple links, or may be a description of the page with the link.

Commonly, there are two particular types of sitemaps, although others may be used. The XML structure is really directed at search engines. It is a series of clues to search engines such as Google as to the structure of the site. The search engine's spider will then follow the links on the sitemap, gathering data about each page in its normal manner. A sitemap laid out in HTML format tends to be more for the sake of humans and often contains descriptive text in addition to the links. For these reasons, you may encounter sites that contain both types of sitemaps.

A well-constructed sitemap serves two purposes:

1. It allows a visitor to look at the entire layout of the site and perhaps more rapidly find the page that addresses his or her concerns.

2. It allows search engine spiders to more rapidly and completely access, index, and evaluate all the pages of the site. This can contribute to a higher site ranking in some cases, and, at the least, provides more possible pages to lead the visitor to the site.

While a sitemap can be constructed using basic html, there are free sitemap builders or generators available. These can be found simply by performing a search under one of those terms.
Secrets To Success With Google Adsense
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So you place a google adsense ad on your page and you will begin making money immediately, right? Not exactly. This is a common misconception amongst internet marketers that can cause frustration and ultimately lead to many quitting with no success. If you can believe this, there is actually work and strategic planning involved with you making money with google adsense. So what are these secrets to success with google adsense you may be wondering?

The placement of your google adsense ad on the page is crucial to how much money you will make. It is vital that you place the ad above the fold on your page in order to get the most clicks. What this means is you want to place the ad high enough on the page that visitors do not have to scroll down to see your ad.

By placing the google adsense ad above the fold you are increasing the odds of people clicking on the ad. The reason for this is because a majority of your readers do not read your entire site or the entire page. For the most part people glance over some of the key points on the top part of the page without worrying about scrolling down. If you place the ad higher, you have a better chance to get clicks out of these types of visitors.

The way you blend the ad with the rest of your page can determine if the ad is visually appealing or not. You want to try and make your google adsense ad look less like an ad and more like your work. You can do this by making the font and color of the ad’s text similar as the text on the rest of the page. It is also recommended that you blend or mesh the background of the ad with the background of your page.

What you place around your ad can have just as much affect as the google adsense has itself for success. You want to eliminate any kind of clutter that can distract and disorient readers when they come to your page. It may seem appealing to you to place banners and pictures and text all over the page, but this is simply cluttering the page. If the page is cluttered you are increasing the chances of your visitors completely skipping over the google adsense ad altogether.

The last secret to success with google adsense is similar to your website in general. You want to pick a niche that is similar to your website and stick with that niche for all of the ads you place on your website. By selecting a niche you have a better chance for keyword optimization and targeting your readers with relevant ads to what they are searching for on your website.

It is the little things that most never even consider that can make the difference between success and failure with google adsense. If you do all of these secrets listed above and generate traffic to your website, you should have no problem having success with google adsense.

How Beginner Copywriters Can Make A Lot Of Money Very Quickly

=======================================
If you are a copywriter looking to get your feet wet -- and don't know where to turn or how to get started -- this article will give you two simple ideas you can run with today and be making money by tomorrow.

But first, you need to know copywriting is in huge demand.

Reason why is because so many people are just afraid to write copy, don’t know how to write copy, or are simply too lazy to learn.

And so, if you know even the bare basics of copywriting you are in big demand and you just need to find where the "starving crowd" (as master copywriter Gary Halbert puts it) is that are hungry for what you got. Here are two ways you can get started:

1.) First, you could look at trade publications or magazines where you see ads, newspaper ads, anywhere in your local community, and usually there are phone numbers on there.

And you call or write these people and say, “Hey, I’m looking at your ad. I’m a writer and I’ve got a couple ideas that I think could double the response of your ad if you’re interested.” And that's it. If you call 20 or 30 people a day, I’m sure you could pull in three or four jobs a day. Or at least get some good leads.

2.) And the second way to get started is you can take a person’s brochure or letter or flier or display ad that you see in these publications -- the ones that you know aren't pulling anything -- and make a couple of corrections on them. Then, after that, send the corrected ad with a letter explaining that you’ve made these corrections and it should increase their response. And if they like what they see and want a completely redone marketing piece to contact you.

Now, neither of the above ideas is complicated and anyone can do them. And just doing these two things alone should give you more than enough business to get started. You just have to put in the effort.

Let’s get a little more specific to quickly start your copywriting career with an easy example of a way to get leads just by searching through eBay and then writing an email.

Here's what you do:

Go to eBay or some other auction site and look for ads selling things that are selling for maybe $400 or $500 or even just $300 or $200, and that are listed over and over again -- but not selling.

Look for ones that are very poorly written. Ads you can look at and say, "I can do better than that!" and use your copywriting skills to rewrite the ad.

Then, when you've rewritten the ad contact that seller and simply say, “I’ve been looking at your eBay ad for the last couple of weeks or the last couple of months, and although you have a good ad, there are a lot of things that you can do to make this auction sell better and sell at a higher price and sell more often. What I’ve done is I’ve taken the liberty of rewriting your ad, and I’d like to get your opinion on it.”

Then, you put your ad up on a webpage, and you let him know the ad is copyrighted under international and federal law. You may even want to use a simple "non-disclosure" form they must sign before they can view the ad as an extra layer of protection (just in case).

If you really want to go the extra mile, you can even get some simple software that will allow you to protect the page, meaning he can’t copy and paste or print the page so it’s just view only.

The idea here is you want to show him your work, but you don’t want him to be able to copy and paste it, or use it. At that point you can then get his opinion and you can sell that to him, or you could negotiate.

You could say, “I’ll let you use my sales letter to sell your product. Why don’t you test it on one or two of your auctions? And then you pay me a percentage on everything you sell for using my sales letter.”

If he says no, move on to someone else selling something similar where you don't have to do any massive rewriting.

And just keep going after them. There are so many ads on these auction sites.

You should especially look at the completed auctions for stuff that sells for ten, fifteen, twenty thousand dollars. Let’s say you find someone selling a million dollar boat, for example. And let's say he has great pictures, but he has no copy, no benefits, no descriptions.

You can simply say, “Did you ever sell the boat?”

Chances are he'll say something like, “Nah, I never sold it. It’s still sitting here.”

You could negotiate and say, “Let me help you sell your boat. I’ll write an ad to sell the boat, and if we sell the boat, you split it with me. You pay me $2,000 or $3,000 or $4,000, whatever.”

Look, this may sound simple, but it works. The world is starved for good copy -- especially on the online auctions.

And this is a great way for a beginner copywriter -- who knows the basics -- to get your feet wet and maybe make some good money at the same time.
